About Yle Radio Suomi

Yle Radio Suomi is Finland's nationwide public-service radio network for news, companionship and domestic popular music. It combines a shared national schedule with regional newsrooms that provide dedicated broadcasts for provinces around the country.

Current affairs, traffic, weather, sport and practical information sit alongside Finnish songs and live coverage of cultural events. The structure allows major national stories and everyday local concerns to reach the same broad audience throughout the day.
