About Yle Radio Suomi Kemi
Yle Radio Suomi Kemi is a regional public-radio stream serving Kemi, Tornio and the Sea Lapland area. It contributes local journalism to the wider Radio Suomi network and follows life along Finland's northern coast and Swedish border.
News, weather, traffic, municipal issues and community interviews form the regional output. Shared national programmes and Finnish popular music provide continuity through the day, while the local newsroom ensures that Sea Lapland is heard in its own voice.
