About Yle Radio Suomi Kuopio
Yle Radio Suomi Kuopio is the regional public-radio service for North Savo. Its newsroom covers Kuopio, Iisalmi and smaller Savonian municipalities, bringing local reporting to the wider schedule of Yle's nationwide Radio Suomi network.
News, interviews, traffic, regional culture and sport provide a daily picture of life around the province's lakes and towns. Finnish popular music and national programmes complete the service outside the dedicated North Savo broadcasts.
