About Yle Radio Suomi Rovaniemi
Yle Radio Suomi Rovaniemi is the Lapland regional service within Finland's public-radio network. Based in the provincial capital, it covers an immense northern territory where long distances, tourism, weather and public services shape daily news.
Regional bulletins, interviews, culture and sport provide a Finnish-language view of Lapland's communities. Shared Radio Suomi programmes and domestic popular music continue through the day, while Yle's separate Sámi service addresses Indigenous-language audiences.
