About Yle Vega Huvudstadsregionen
Yle Vega Huvudstadsregionen is Svenska Yle's regional radio service for Swedish speakers in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen and Kirkkonummi. It places the capital area's bilingual public life within the wider Swedish-language Vega network.
Regional news, interviews, culture and current affairs cover local government, transport, events and community concerns. Music and shared programmes from Yle Vega connect Greater Helsinki with Swedish-speaking audiences across other parts of Finland.
