About Yle Vega Österbotten
Yle Vega Österbotten is Svenska Yle's regional station for Swedish-speaking Ostrobothnia, broadcasting from Vaasa and heard there on 101 FM. Its coverage follows a coastal region with a particularly strong Swedish-language community.
Local news, interviews and debate address municipalities, business, education, culture and rural life. Music and network programmes from Yle Vega complement the regional output, linking Ostrobothnian listeners with Swedish-speaking Finland as a whole.
