About 3WBC 94.1 FM

3WBC 94.1 FM is Whitehorse Boroondara Community Radio, a volunteer-driven service for Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Programming spans specialty music, talk, multicultural shows, local news, and sport, with an emphasis on community voices and training opportunities. Broadcasts originate from Box Hill and highlight groups, councils, schools, and businesses across Whitehorse and nearby areas, giving airtime to issues and events often overlooked by metropolitan outlets.

As a not-for-profit community licensee, 3WBC invites participation from residents and supports emerging presenters and producers. Listeners hear interviews with local leaders and artists, suburb-level traffic and weather, and coverage of festivals, markets, and grassroots sport. The diverse schedule appeals to a broad audience, including seniors, families, and commuters, strengthening connection within the eastern corridor of Melbourne.
