About Radio Kaleva
Radio Kaleva broadcasts from Oulu's Rotuaari district as a voice for northern Finnish city culture. Closely linked with the Kaleva media group, it combines local journalism and live conversation with music chosen by people rather than an anonymous rotation.
The playlist reaches from the 1960s to current releases, and specialist programmes explore particular artists and sounds. Oulu news, guests and live commentary on Kärpät ice hockey strengthen a schedule designed around the interests of the northern community.
