About Ålands Radio
Ålands Radio is the Swedish-language public-service station for the autonomous Åland Islands. It became an independent broadcaster in 1996 and is heard primarily on 91.3 FM, with its newsroom and studios serving listeners across the archipelago.
Local news, current affairs and in-depth reports are joined by sport, culture, music and entertainment. The service documents island politics and everyday community life, while its website and ÅRTV Play make live radio and selected programmes available beyond Åland.
