Bermuda.funk is the free community radio service for the Rhine-Neckar region. Broadcasting since 2000, it shares local frequencies with student station radioaktiv and can be heard on 89.6 FM in Mannheim, 105.4 FM in Heidelberg and online.

The schedule is created by volunteers rather than a conventional commercial newsroom. It gives local groups, cultural initiatives and individual producers space for music, politics, social issues, multilingual programmes and experimental formats. This open structure produces a varied stream in which specialist interests and community voices can be heard.
