About Boca Radio

Boca Radio is a nonprofit community station broadcasting on 90.1 FM from the Espai Jove Boca Nord in Barcelona's Horta-Guinardo district. It is run by the Associacio Juvenil d'Amics de la Radio d'Horta-Guinardo and began using the Boca Radio name in 2006.

The project treats radio as a social tool that supports personal and community development. Its output gives space to local organizations and combines neighborhood information, culture, entertainment, interviews, and music while encouraging young people and volunteers to take part.
