About Campus & City Radio
Campus & City Radio 94.4 is a free, noncommercial station located at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten in Austria. It developed from a student web radio project created in 2001, began terrestrial broadcasting on April 30, 2002, and now serves St. Pölten and the surrounding area on 94.4 MHz. The station presents multilingual programs about culture, society, music, local initiatives, and everyday life.
As a member of the Verband Freier Rundfunk Österreich, Campus & City Radio follows the principles of Austrian free radio and provides space for varied voices and perspectives. It also organizes free workshops in moderation and program production, allowing interested participants to learn practical broadcasting skills and create their own shows. The result is a community-focused service that connects student media work with cultural and social topics from the wider St. Pölten region.
