About Contrabanda
Contrabanda FM is a free, noncommercial, self-managed radio station broadcasting in Barcelona since January 1991. It operates collectively, is funded by member contributions, accepts no public or private subsidies, and carries no advertising.
Members volunteer to produce programs and take part in decisions about the project. Broadcasting on 91.4 FM and online, Contrabanda offers an independent platform for music, culture, social issues, community voices, and collaborative broadcasts with other free-radio projects.
