Polskie Radio Program I, commonly known as PR1 or Jedynka, is a public radio station originating from Poland, with its main headquarters in Warsaw. It began regular broadcasts on April 18, 1926, as Polskie Radio Warszawa, following test transmissions in 1925, making it one of the oldest stations in the country. Founded by Polskie Radio S.A., it became state-owned in 1935 after the government acquired most of its shares. Today, it broadcasts across Poland, reaching cities like Krakow and Gdansk, and uses longwave, FM, and digital platforms to serve a diverse audience with a universal program.
The station features a mix of easy listening music, including classic Polish songs and contemporary hits, alongside extensive news and cultural content.
