About Karadeniz FM
Karadeniz FM was founded in 1994 and identifies itself as Turkey's first Black Sea radio station. Based in Istanbul, it operates with a regional licence and distributes its service on terrestrial radio, satellite and the internet.
Classic and contemporary Black Sea music leads a broad Turkish playlist that also includes folk, art music, arabesk and pop. A daily lineup of presenter-led shows supports the station's continuing focus on Black Sea culture.
