Kiss FM Romania, based in Bucharest, began as Radio Contact on February 25, 1990, and rebranded to Kiss FM on November 5, 2003, after acquisition by a Belgian network. Now owned by ANT1 Group, it broadcasts on 96.1 FM in Bucharest, across 57 local stations, and online. With over 2 million daily listeners, it’s Romania’s top station, known for its contemporary hit radio format and popular morning show “DesKiss Dimineața,” hosted by Cătălin Oprișan and Corina Băcanu. 

The station plays chart-topping pop and dance hits from artists like Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, and Romanian stars such as Theo Rose and INNA. Programs like “Kiss Top 40” and “Hit Hit In The Mix” feature DJs including Andreea Berghea and Marian Boba. Based in Bucharest, Kiss FM Romania engages young listeners with contests, podcasts, and a vibrant mix of music and entertainment.
