Magic FM based in Bucharest, began as Uni Fan on January 11, 1990, founded by a group of students. Rebranded as Magic FM in February 2006 after replacing Radio Star, it is now owned by Antenna Entertainment and broadcasts on 90.8 FM in Bucharest and 28 other frequencies nationwide, also streaming online. Targeting listeners aged 35-49, it ranks fourth in Bucharest’s audience share and transforms into “Santa’s Radio” during winter holidays, playing Christmas tunes. 

The station’s playlist features iconic hits from the 80s and 90s by artists like Madonna, George Michael, and Bon Jovi, alongside contemporary tracks from Adele and Coldplay. Programs like “Magic Morning” with Raul Brebu and Liana Stanciu offer music, news, and contests. Based in Bucharest, Magic FM Romania delivers a nostalgic yet fresh sound, appealing to those who cherish timeless melodies.
