Founded by former DR hosts, Radio Mars emerged from a desire to break free from formatted radio, prioritizing music quality over genre or popularity. It gained traction through a 2024 crowdfunding campaign, raising 400,000 DKK for DAB expansion. Ad-free and supported by its Klub Mars members, the station’s slogan, "Mere af det, de andre ikke spiller", reflects its commitment to delivering fresh, meaningful music to curious listeners.
