About Oiartzun Irratia
Oiartzun Irratia is a Basque-language community station created in 1999 for the town of Oiartzun in Gipuzkoa. It prioritises local news, uses the local Basque variety where possible and welcomes participation from residents, schools, associations and creators.
Live weekday output includes news from Oiartzun and the wider Basque Country, weather, interviews, municipal information and a listener competition. The station also produces programs about culture, books, cinema, sport and local life, with recordings and a live stream available online.
