About Patientenradio Peilsender

Patientenradio Peilsender is the in-house station of Pfalzklinikum in Klingenmuenster. Since 2012, patients from the clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry have played a leading role in creating its programme, which is heard locally on 87.9 FM and worldwide online.

The project gives participants a practical and creative way to choose music, develop ideas, speak on air and work together on radio production. Its identity is shaped by patients for patients rather than by a commercial playlist. On Sunday mornings the station also carries worship live from the clinic church, followed by Christian music.
