Portu Radio

About Portu Radio

Portu Radio is a local broadcaster serving Portugalete and nearby municipalities in Biscay. Its weekday schedule combines local news bulletins, sports coverage, interviews and civic discussion with a music formula spanning major songs from the 1970s to today. Kafetegia provides a daily community magazine and interview space.

Specialist programmes broaden the sound with classic pop, rock, country, Celtic music, Latin American roots and jazz fusion. Portugaleteko Abestiak is dedicated to the town's own musical tradition, while the sports team follows local clubs with particular attention to Portu FC. Portu Radio can be heard live online and also makes individual programmes available for later listening.
