Radio Active

About Radio Active

Radio Active is an advertising-free community station broadcasting on 100 FM across the Toulon area and streaming worldwide. Based in La Valette-du-Var, it has been powered by volunteers since 1989 and promotes artists from the region as well as musicians working outside the major commercial circuits.

A distinctive playlist is joined by dozens of specialist shows covering indie, rock, jazz, classical music, blues, soul, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, metal, noise, drum and bass, techno, ambient, and more. Local culture, theatre, comics, games, inclusion, youth voices, environmental subjects, interviews, live studio performances, and event recordings broaden the service.
