It began in 1995 as Rádio SP-1, adopting its current name on November 1, 1996, under Grupo Mix de Comunicação, linked to Grupo Objetivo. Initially located at Edifício Gazeta on Avenida Paulista, it moved to Rua Vergueiro in 2006, growing into the flagship of the Mix FM network by 2004.
