About Radio Almaina

Radio Almaina is Granada's free, self-managed and assembly-run community station, broadcasting on 88.5 FM. It operates independently of companies, public subsidies and political institutions, with an open structure based on direct participation, collective production and freedom of expression.

The schedule gives space to social movements, critical culture, independent journalism and a wide range of music. Hoy Desde Aquí, Radio Coctelera and other community-focused reports sit alongside jazz, rock, reggae and experimental programmes, as well as shared broadcasts from other free media. Radio Almaina streams live and maintains an extensive podcast archive of its own productions and syndicated shows.
