About Radio Arc-en-Ciel 96.2

Radio Arc-en-Ciel is a community station serving Orléans and Fleury-les-Aubrais on 96.2 FM. It was founded in November 1985 as a Portuguese community radio and is operated by the nonprofit association IOTA. Over time, the station opened its microphone to other communities and developed a multicultural identity for ethnic minorities in the Orléans area.

Its varied music spans jazz, country, rock and traditional Portuguese, Spanish and Caribbean sounds. Radio Arc-en-Ciel also relays news and live sports coverage from Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Italian broadcasters, while some hours carry RDP Internacional. Volunteers sustain the station and organize cultural events, including celebrations linked to Portuguese music and heritage.
