About Radio Almenara

Radio Almenara is the free community station of the Ventilla-Almenara neighbourhood in Madrid's Tetuán district, broadcasting on 106.7 FM. It provides an independent communication space where residents, associations and social initiatives can discuss issues that matter to the neighbourhood and the wider city.

The station places particular emphasis on strengthening local civic networks and reporting activities that may receive little attention from larger media. Cultural work is another central strand, with space for music, poetry, theatre and visual arts. Radio Almenara belongs to Madrid's union of free community stations and Spain's community media network, and its live stream is available beyond the FM area.
