About Radio Blau

Radio Blau is a free non-commercial community station for Leipzig. It broadcasts around the clock on DAB+ and online, with additional FM hours on 99.2, 94.4 and 89.2, and invites residents to create programmes after introductory training.

Volunteer producers present local news, political and cultural magazines, international perspectives, multilingual programmes and an exceptionally wide range of music. Morning and evening magazines feature interviews and event tips, while specialist shows explore metal, punk, electronic music and many other scenes. Workshops teach journalism, editing and studio operation. Listen online for self-organised broadcasting that reflects voices and subjects across Leipzig and its surrounding districts.
