About Radio Central
Radio Central is a German-language Swiss station serving Central Switzerland with a broad music mix and a substantial regional news service. The schedule combines presenter-led entertainment with current reporting, weather, traffic, sport and live coverage of community events. Swiss folk traditions also have a dedicated place through request features, yodelling and alpine music programming.
The station uses regional FM frequencies including 102.6 in parts of Schwyz and Zug, 100.1 around Lucerne, 103.0 in Uri and 101.8 in Lucerne, Uri and Obwalden or Nidwalden. Radio Central and the regional Central 2 service are also available on DAB+ across German-speaking Switzerland, through the website, mobile app, smart speakers and connected-car systems.
