About Radio Darmstadt
Radio Darmstadt is a non-commercial community broadcaster for Darmstadt and the surrounding area. Known locally as RadaR, it provides citizens and organisations with access to radio production through its 103.4 FM service and online stream.
Volunteer-made programmes cover city politics, social issues, science, culture, local initiatives and multilingual communities. Specialist music shows range across genres rarely given sustained space in commercial radio, while interviews and event broadcasts connect listeners with civic life. Training and open participation allow new contributors to learn research, presenting and technical skills. Listen online for an independent schedule reflecting the interests and diversity of people across Darmstadt.
