About Rádio Elmo
Rádio Elmo is a local station from Pinhel broadcasting on 99.1 FM. Its story began with the O Elmo newspaper created by a local scout group in 1983, followed by the launch of daily radio transmissions on 7 March 1986.
The station reports on Pinhel and the wider Guarda district, covering municipal decisions, community events, culture and local initiatives alongside music. Online access carries this proximity-based service worldwide and helps people from the region remain connected.
