About Radio Moreeni

Radio Moreeni is the radio station of Tampere University and began broadcasting in 1989. As Finland's university-owned radio outlet, it combines public-facing journalism with a practical environment where students can learn audio production and broadcasting.

Science, culture and current affairs are examined through interviews, documentaries and specialist programmes. Classical music and community-made content broaden the schedule, giving academic expertise and independent local voices room that is difficult to find on commercial music radio.
