About Radio Nachgefragt

Radio Nachgefragt is an independent German citizen-radio project centred on questions, interviews and community participation. Its digital distribution makes locally produced conversations available beyond the limited airtime traditionally offered to public-access contributors.

The programme gives guests time to explain projects, experiences and opinions in their own words. Social issues, culture, voluntary work and everyday concerns can be explored without being reduced to short commercial-radio segments. The citizen-media approach also creates opportunities for participants to learn interviewing, editing and responsible publishing.
