About Radio Occitania
Radio Occitania is an associative station founded in Toulouse in 1981 to promote Occitan language and culture. Around 80 percent of its output is in Occitan, with additional airtime open to other languages and communities present in Toulouse.
The station broadcasts on 98.3 FM in the Toulouse area, 89.4 in Comminges, 106.1 in Lauragais and northern Ariège, and 93.6 in Rouergue. Interviews, regional news, literature, sport and music from many cultures reflect its commitment to diversity and local expression.
