About Ràdio RSK

Ràdio RSK is an independent free-radio project from Barcelona's Nou Barris district. It began as Ràdio Ressaka in 1985 after a youth radio workshop involving people from Torre Llobeta, Congrés and Sant Andreu, and later adopted its current name.

The station is organised collectively and offers a non-mainstream platform for music, culture, social issues and voices rarely heard in commercial media. Its long-running community model values open participation and self-managed broadcasting, while the internet stream carries the programmes beyond their neighbourhood origins to listeners across Barcelona and farther afield.
