About Radyo Baris
Radyo Barış is an Istanbul radio name associated with Turkish folk and özgün music. Earlier station records place its studios in Bakırköy and identify the service with the slogan Türküler Özümüz, Türküler Sözümüz.
The format centers on songs rooted in Turkish folk tradition rather than a broad commercial pop playlist. Online station listings also associate Radyo Barış with the 107.0 FM frequency in Istanbul.
