About Radyo K.İ.

Radyo K.İ. is the student practice station of Kocaeli University Faculty of Communication. Test broadcasting began at the Hereke campus in 2003, and the station moved to the Umuttepe campus in 2005 before changing to 94.9 FM after an infrastructure renewal in August 2024.

The non-commercial station gives students practical broadcasting experience under the university's Radio Television Broadcasting and Research Center. Its output includes curated pop music, interviews, current-affairs discussions and educational programs produced within an academic setting.
