About rbb 88.8

rbb 88.8 is Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg's city radio service for Berlin. Its namesake FM frequency is supported by DAB+ and digital platforms, providing a public-service daily companion focused closely on the capital.

Familiar German and international pop accompanies Berlin news, weather and extensive traffic information. Reporters follow city politics, neighbourhoods, culture, consumer issues and community events, while presenter-led programmes add interviews, memories and audience stories. Local service is the defining feature rather than a generic statewide format. Listen online for reliable Berlin information and an accessible cross-generational music mix.
