About Xiberoko Botza
Xiberoko Botza is an associative radio station based in Mauléon-Licharre in Soule, the Basque Country. Founded in 1982, it was created to provide a radio voice in the Souletin variety of Basque and has been part of the Euskal Irratiak network since 1997.
The station reports on local news, sport, cultural events and community life across Soule. Its Souletin-language programs, interviews and music help keep the language present in everyday broadcasting while connecting listeners with the people and traditions of the region.
