About Yle Radio Suomi - Tampere
Yle Radio Suomi Tampere is the Pirkanmaa regional outlet of Finland's public broadcaster. Produced from the Mediapolis centre, it follows Tampere's growing urban region as well as the surrounding industrial towns and rural municipalities.
Local weekday programmes cover news, transport, municipal decisions, culture and sport through reporting and interviews. They join a national Radio Suomi schedule that combines public information, current affairs, entertainment and Finnish popular music.
