About Radio Afera

Radio Afera is the academic station of Poznań University of Technology and the city's oldest non-commercial broadcaster. It has operated since 1971, has been heard terrestrially since 1990 and now transmits on 98.6 FM as well as online.

Rock and alternative music form the core of a schedule containing more than 30 specialist programmes each week. Student presenters cover university life, culture, city issues and sport, while the station also gives emerging bands an opportunity to reach a Poznań audience.
