About Radio Alto
Radio Alto is a community station created by residents of the Bauges in 2006 and operated by the non-profit ALTO association. Based in Lescheraines, it broadcasts on 94.8 FM across the massif and online, acting as a communication and creative resource for local communities.
The station invites residents of all ages to share projects, knowledge, passions, and everyday life through interviews, field reports, and original audio work. Regional heritage, farming, environmental themes, cultural events, local initiatives, and music connect the Bauges with the wider world, while workshops teach radio, interviewing, media literacy, and sound production.
