About Radio Formia
Radio Formia began in November 1976 when a group of friends built a small studio in an attic and started transmitting on 102 FM. The station retained its original name as it expanded its coverage and incorporated frequencies previously used by other local broadcasters.
Today its website combines live radio with podcasts, local news, interviews, culture, music, travel, and conversations with guests from Formia and nearby communities. Programs preserve the station's role as an independent local voice for southern Lazio.
