About Rádio Pax
Rádio Pax is a cooperative regional station broadcasting on 101.4 FM from Beja. Its first experimental transmission took place on 25 December 1984, making it an early independent radio voice in Portugal and the first of its kind in the Alentejo.
Journalism remains a priority, with reports and dedicated programmes about Beja, Serpa, Mértola, Ourique and local parishes. Interviews, culture, regional traditions, music and specialist features document the identity and everyday concerns of southern Portugal.
