About Radio QK

Radio QK is an independent free radio station broadcasting on 107.2 FM from Oviedo in Asturias. Founded on 8 September 1983 as a youth association radio workshop, it operates collectively and without advertising, offering an alternative channel for community expression.

Its volunteer-made schedule spans music, current affairs, history, interviews, culture, sport and counter-information. Anyone can propose or produce a programme under the station's principles of equal participation and freedom of expression, while podcasts and the live web stream preserve access beyond the Oviedo FM signal.
