About Radio RCS
RCS, Rádio Cultura de Seia, began in 2010 after its operator won a national licensing competition organised by Portugal's media regulator. The station broadcasts on 93.6 FM from Seia with a locally rooted service for the surrounding region.
Its round-the-clock schedule gives priority to Portuguese music alongside news, community information and programmes connected to Seia's people, customs and traditions. Live internet broadcasting also carries the station to Portuguese communities abroad.
