About Voz do Caima
Voz do Caima was licensed in 1989 as a local radio service for Oliveira de Azeméis and later became known as Caima FM. Its long-running frequency was 97.1 FM, carrying popular music and locally connected broadcasting for the municipality.
In May 2024, Caima FM and Azeméis FM announced the union of their teams and programmes as Caima-Azeméis FM Rádio on 89.7 FM. The Voz do Caima name therefore represents an important earlier chapter in the area's radio history rather than a separate current local frequency.
